We'd like to introduce the newest member of our growing family - Maplewood Adult Day Center located on 110 Daniel Drive in Uniontown, PA which offers many of the same familiar services offered at our California and Monessen locations.
An Adult Day Center is a friendly, secure place for older adults who cannot or don't wish to stay at home alone during the day while family members work, run errands, or simply take a break.
The Center in the Woods Adult Day Centers provide an alternative to nursing home care for seniors with both physical and mental impairments. All centers are handicapped accessible.
Your loved one can arrive in the morning and spend the day in a safe, clean comfortable, and stimulating environment, where he or she will benefit from health monitoring, meaningful activities, social interaction, and personal care.
Our highly trained and specialized staff includes an LPN dedicated to the well-being of participants. Staff encourages participation in all activities. We stress an upbeat, friendly atmosphere where staff and participants become "like family."
Funding is available through the Area Agency on Aging if eligible and
transportation is available through County Transportation Services. State
regulations require an enrollment process.
