Our Adult Day Center is a friendly, secure place for older adults who cannot or don't wish to stay at home alone during the day while family members work, run errands, or simply take a break.

The Center in the Woods Adult Day Centers provide an alternative to nursing home care for seniors with both physical and mental impairments. All centers are handicapped accessible.

Your loved one can arrive in the morning and spend the day in a safe, clean, comfortable and stimulating environment, where he or she will benefit from health monitoring, meaningful activities, social interaction, and personal care.

Our highly trained and specialized staff includes an LPN dedicated to the well-being of participants. Staff encourages participation in all activities. We stress and upbeat, friendly atmosphere where staff and participants become "like family."

Have you ever asked yourself, "How can I help my community?"

The Adult Day Care Centers need your help!!!

Being a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of others and every donation, big or small, helps. Below is a  list of some ways you can contribute to the Center in the Woods Adult Day Care Centers and feel good knowing you are helping those who are not as independent as you are:

-Cookies (either regular or sugar free and any name brand).

-Buy a brick for the "Paving the Way" program in honor of or in memory of someone you love.

-Bring in your aluminum cans -we recycle, and all proceeds go to the Adult Day Care Centers.

-Remember a loved one who has passed away by a monetary donation in lieu of flowers.

-Donate usable craft supplies such as scissors, glue or glue sticks, poster board, construction paper, water soluble paints, paint brushes, etc.

-Donate bingo prizes. They can be anything from a small knick-knack to a scarf or cap-including jewelry, rain hats, note pads, etc. These items can be new or used, in good condition and for men or women.

-Donate bedding plants and/or seeds for the flower and vegetable gardens.

-The love of music makes it possible for us to accept any CDs or audio tapes, especially the big band sounds, songs from the 50's or polkas.

-Since we have TVs, DVDs and video tape players at each center, DVDs or video tapes of old movies or old TV series like the Andy Griffith Show or I Love Lucy, etc. new or used will be graciously accepted.

-Any and all gift certificates where any of the above items could be purchased.
